I Support Fair Art Trades Stamp

I support fair art trades!

Now, this may come across as rude and...maybe slightly egotistical? ;; I really hope I don't come across that way, buuuut I kinda feel like this needs to be said.

I support fair art trades. Meaning? That if you approach someone with an art trade in mind, you should probably be at least around the same level of skill as they are, and be willing to put in as much effort.

I'm not talking about me specifically, but rather, some popular deviants whose profiles I've seen. There are many fans asking for requests and art trades with these people, but, like, if this person makes you a beautiful digital painting and you give them a mouse drawn MS paint picture, how is that fair?

Same with less dramatic examples. A fully colored picture versus a sketch just doesn't seem fair to me at all. I think that, if you are considering doing an art trade, you should humbly keep your own skills in mind and, if that person's quite a bit better than you, maybe hold off a bit? Some people might be too nice to reject an offer, but it's hardly fair for them to put in a lot of effort and get a picture that they could have drawn so much better in return.

....eeep I hope I don't sound rude. Some people might get offended by this, and for that I'm sorry. But really, I just want it to be fair for anyone wanting an art trade, y'know?

Btw, I'm not one of those people who gets 'unfair' art trades. I'm hardly skilled enough to consider myself 'good'. I'm just throwing it out there. :3
